Apolo Ohno

Apolo Anton Ohno is an eight-time Winter Olympic medalist and retired American speed skater on the short track. Ohno was inducted into the United States Olympic Hall of Fame in 2019 as the American Winter Olympian with the most medals. Ohno was raised by his father, and in 1996 he began training full-time. Following capturing eight medals at the 2002 Winter Olympics (two gold, two silver, and four bronze), Apolo has become the face of short track in the United States.
