Detroit’s Michigan Railway Station
Detroit is viewed as a symbol of industrial failure, and the Michigan railroad station enhances its historical significance. Built more than a century ago, the station was formerly the most luxurious train station in the region. It has not seen a train in almost two decades. Some citizens believe it should be demolished because of its deteriorating condition, while others argue that it is still a breathtaking sight and photographers visit to take pictures of the majestic station in its wrecked form.
