The Deserted Dome Homes of Caperomano
John Tosto acquired the dome houses in 2005, but he has not yet taken any action with them. There is considerable disagreement regarding the preservation of the structures, and it has been suggested that Tosto could be fined $185,000. My opinion is that they should not be restored. Attempting to renovate them would be comparable to demolishing them, as there is little that can be done to alter their appearance. It is possible to maintain the outside, but it would be simpler and safer to build them from the ground up.
I am aware that the dome residences are a tourist attraction. The “Floating Forest” is highly captivating to observe. In the wrecked vessel, trees have taken root, producing an almost terrifying image. If you examine GoogleMaps from above, you will notice that it appears much more peculiar.
