In 2018, she made her acting debut in the film Gold, which was directed by Akshay Kumar. The film Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Mouni, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, and Nagarjuna, was released the previous year and received a lot of positive feedback. Mouni just recently made an appearance alongside Jubin Nautiyal in the music video for the song “Dotara.”
