With your 2020 goals in mind, how did you do? As a reminder, those goals were to be able to do 75 pushups at the same time, get 10k followers on TikTok, and get 5k followers on Twitter, so we can do that.
It’s impossible for me to completely fail at my goals because of how I set them up. I set high-level goals that are intentionally vague. Then I figure out how to measure them. Checked all the boxes I could. The truth is, no. It’s true that I worked hard on everything, but I also worked on my content. I didn’t do 75 pushups. I just made that number up. I can do more than I could at the start of the year. Not meeting a certain goal or number never makes me feel bad about myself.
How did your goals change this year?
I tried to pay more attention to the fact that it was a hard year. Even where I live, the first half of this year was very crowded. So, it was very easy for me to just focus on my fitness goals and not think about anything else. In the second half of this year, the number of Covid cases went down, so there was more time to go on vacation and do things. My fitness goals were no longer the most important thing in my life. My main goal was to live my life.
Besides, I think goals are there to help us improve our lives, so I don’t think there’s anything wrong with changing a goal half way through the year or taking it out of the whole year. These are things that you have made for yourself.
People should set what kinds of goals.
Financial goals are important, and I think everyone should set them because they are so important. I think it’s important to think about your future and what kind of life you want to lead. When I was younger, like 18 or 20, I didn’t want to look at my credit card. There was a time when I didn’t invest until 2020.
At the end of 2022, I want everyone to be able to say, “I know a lot about money.”

Improve strength: I want to do 75 pushups.
I want to make more TikTok videos and make money from them.
My next year is going to be very busy with a lot of weddings. I need to save money for all of them. I want to make sure I spend and save money early in the year, so I don’t have to worry about money in the summer.
