The meeting
John had placed his head between his hands and sat down on a chair. Chloe had observed the entire scene from a distance before deciding to approach him. “It appeared intense,” she remarked. “Is everything in order?” John attempted to reassure the mysterious woman with a few words. This did not go well for him, as he broke down in tears.
Chloe poured John a drink, and the two began conversing. After a few hours of discussing Heather, John’s new work, and today’s unusual occurrence, the broadcast ended without their knowledge. Chloe was concerned for John.
John promised to contact her that evening to confirm his safe arrival at home.
