BTS making an entry to the Guinness Book of World Records


BTS has made an entry to the Guinness Book of World Records 2022 Hall of Fame with twenty-three records that have been created by the very famous K-pop band. The Guinness Book of World Records has shared the news on Twitter congratulating the band. The popular Korean pop band has broken a lot of records in the year 2021 and has finally made its place in the Guinness Book of World Records Hall of Fame.

In the statement, the Guinness Book of World Records had said, “BTS has collected a jaw-dropping 23 Guinness  Worlds Record titles across music and social media- an amazing result achieved also thanks to the enthusiasm of their fans, the ARMY. Today, they are the most streamed group on Spotify and the most followed music group on Instagram”. They even added that the official accounts of BTS have successfully snatched most of the engagements of Twitter. The song, Butter which was released in May 2021 took off 5 records single-handedly.

By being able to list their records in the Guinness Book of World Records, the band has made a record for most-watched video on YouTube in 24Hrs by any Korean pop band. The band also has made the record of being the fastest to reach the 1million mark on Tiktok.

The Bangtan Boys, famous as BTS is a K-Pop boy band based in South Korea. The Popular band had debuted in 2013 and was formed in 2010. The band has a huge fan following and the fans of BTS are popularly known as BTS ARMY. BTS is among the few music bands which have a very dedicated and loyal fan base and not just as a team each member of the band are equally popular among its fans. So, no wonder the K-Pop band has been breaking and setting records since they are active.
