The Mother Illusion
This card, like the previous one, began quite endearing and adorable before taking a violent turn. “Thank you, Mom, for being kind and great, as well as for no longer preparing your meatloaf.” Mom’s cuisine must have been quite awful for it to be the subject of a greeting card. On second consideration, this card appears to have been designed by a cunning teenager. Alternatively, this child dislikes meatloaf. We’re certain that this mother was pleased to get a card regardless of the day. Her youngster at least acknowledged that she is equally kind and sensitive!
