Korea has launched 2 ballistic missiles from the east coast on the 15th of July 2021 only before an hour of South Korea launching its missile tests based on submarine. President of South Korea Moon Jae-in had called the missile testing of North Korea proactive and defended the testing of its own country. Kim Yo Jong who is the sister of Kim Jong Un, the leader has criticised the remark made by Moon and defended the program of growing weapons.

It has been a growing arms race between the two Korean countries and the military display is its recent proof. Both the Korean countries are claiming that they are developing Arsenal’s for the purpose of self-defence. The tests arrive just after 2 days of North Korea firing their new range of missiles that will be hitting Japan. This display arrives in the middle of loaded diplomatic negotiations between tattoo countries and it also puts pressure on the administration of Joe Biden for reengaging Pyongyang in nuclear talks.

However, the officials of the US have stated that this move is not going to pose any immediate mark or threat to the administration.

Japan condemns the North Korean move

The launch of ballistic missiles by North Korea from the east coast on the 15th of July, 2021 has been condemned by the Japanese prime Minister, Yoshihide Suga.

As per the report of NBC News, the South Korean military had said that non-identified ballistic missiles had been fired for 2 rounds into the waters of the East Sea or the Sea of Japan.

Prime Minister, Yoshihide Suga called the move “simply outrageous” and also said that the region’s peace & security had been threatened. According to him, the act was against the resolution of the UN Security Council and condemned the move strongly. He also said that the Japanese government will be monitoring the area.
